Outstanding speech of Swami Vivekanand in 1893 at Chicago. *On the topic of outstanding speech of Swami Vivekanand on 11 Sep. 1893 at Chicago. Vidya Prabodhini Prashala Eng. Med. School organized speech competition of VIII to X std. students in the school campus to commemorate the great philosopher Swami Vivekanand.*

The students who had participated in the competition,delivered the speeches in English as well as Marathi languages. Total 13 students were participated in the competition.All they mentioned the unique characteristic of Vivekanand's beginning of the speech, which grabed the attention of all audience and Vivekanand received standing ovation for his words, My Brothers and Sisters of America... and the listeners were engrossed in his speech till it ends. He gave the world a glimpse of Indian culture and ethos.
