Raksha Bandhan Celebration at Vidya Prabodhini Prashala (English Medium Secondary Section)

On the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan, Vidya Prabodhini Prashala (English Medium Secondary) celebrated the festival with great enthusiasm and traditional fervor on 08-augest-2025  within the school premises.

The event began with a short introduction explaining the significance of Raksha Bandhan—a festival that symbolizes the sacred bond of love and protection between brothers and sisters. Students from various classes actively participated in the celebration, dressed in traditional attire, adding cultural vibrance to the atmosphere.

A special Raksha Bandhan assembly was conducted where students recited poens, delivered speeches, . The highlight of the celebration was the rakhi tying ceremony, where girls tied rakhis on the wrists of their classmates and even school staff, symbolizing respect, protection, and harmony.

Teachers also took this opportunity to share valuable thoughts on the importance of relationships and mutual care in today’s world. The school also encouraged eco-friendly handmade rakhis, promoting creativity and environmental consciousness among students.
